Whole Gospel.

Whole Church.

Whole Person.

Whole Neighborhood.

About

We are a new, local church plant with grassroots beginnings in January 2025. As our core leadership team grows and prepares, we’ll begin to gather publicly on Sunday nights in the early Fall of 2025. If you’re excited for this vision, reach out to us. We’d love to connect over a meal or coffee.

We are affiliated with Thrive Church Planting Network and The Ecclesia Network. Scroll down for our theology and beliefs.

We shape our practice around the whole story of God, worship in sync with the historic church calendar, and our Sunday night gatherings are liturgical and centered the word and table. We will also gather in smaller discipleship groups called Missional Communities or Dinner Parties. These are led by our community and in them we practice following the way of Jesus through community life, learning, and outward generosity within our neighborhood.

The Story of God

We tell the story of God in nine movements.

Creation: God created a world of abundance and took up restful residence in his kingdom.

Images: Humans have a royal status that reflects God’s rule in the world and cultivates flourishing.

Rebellion: Humanity did not trust God but ruled on our own terms, leading to fracture and exile.

Covenant: God pursued a familial relationship with his people and offered life-giving instruction.

Temple: God dwelled with his people and provided a way to receive his presence.

King: God chose a royal representative whose household will righteously rule forever.

Christ: Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and the suffering, royal Messiah.

Church: God’s Spirit invites all those in Christ to live as his redeemed presence in the world.

New Creation: God will one day restore his presence on earth in an abundant garden city.

We respond with nine practices.

Sabbath: We rest and trust in God’s goodness and abundance, enjoying and caring for creation.

Formation: We grow into the image of God, becoming who we truly are in Christ.

Confession: We practice humble repentance and are quick to admit our blindspots and sin.

Wisdom: We delight in God’s word and humbly apply his instruction to our whole lives.

Communion: We abide in God’s presence by our union with the person and work of Christ.

Justice: We live as a compelling foretaste of the righteous and sacrificial kingdom of God.

Hospitality: We live porous lives and proclaim the gospel with wide tables.

Community: We share life together marked by love, diversity, forgiveness, and contribution.

Generosity: We joyfully trust in God’s renewed world and proclaim this hope with benevolence.

The City of Eugene

Theology & Beliefs

We read, interpret, and teach the Bible with a humble posture and in conversation with the historical, global, and local church. We emphasize our unity with other Christians, take Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount seriously, and doctrinally align with the Apostle’s Creed, Nicene Creed, and Lausanne Covenants. Our gatherings are casual, liturgical, and shaped around the historic church calendar.

Local Partners

We care about our city and have built partnerships with a few non-profits and schools so that we can work together for the flourishing of our neighborhoods. Hosea Youth Services helps the at-risk and homeless youth of Lane County to build lives of hope and purpose. Every Child mobilizes the community to uplift children and families impacted by foster care in Oregon. One Hope pursues the peace and transformation of the greater Eugene and Springfield community.
