I have lived in Oregon for ten years and have spent the last four pastoring in Eugene and learning the city. After a B.A. in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from Moody Bible Institute and an M.A. in Spiritual Formation from Wheaton College, I have spent the past twelve years in full-time pastoral leadership in the local church. These roles have led me to a lot of unique places - from after school programs in the Chicago projects to caring for the homeless populations in Portland to driving a bunch of high schoolers to the San Diego / Tijuana border and immersing in the border conversation. All of this has kept me humble and radically curious about the depth of God’s love for the world. I enjoy teaching robust theology in everyday language and finding creative ways to apprentice whole-life disciples of Jesus. Along with my wife and kids, I’m passionate about creating a compelling witness to God’s reconciling work in the world, riding bikes, and running Pre’s Trail.
